Nurse Practitioner State CE Requirements and Suggested Courses

Similar to physicians, physician assistants, and other clinicians, most Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are required to complete a specific number of CME/CE hours to maintain their license to practice as well as avoiding additional consequences such as fines. The number of hours you are required to complete as an NP can vary drastically dependant on what state you practice in.
