With Coronavirus, or COVID-19, spreading and becoming a pandemic, physicians need to be adequately prepared on how to best treat the disease to ensure the best possible outcomes for potential stricken patients. As of March 13, 2020, there have been over 5,000 reported deaths worldwide and over 139,00 infections. Due to the growing number of cases across the globe, The World Health Organization has declared the threat of a global Coronavirus pandemic as “very real”.
To help physicians prepare for the potential pandemic, there has been an increasing number of Coronavirus CME activities to help clinicians become more knowledgeable about treating the disease. Check out some of the most popular Coronavirus CME activities that can help clinicians battle the disease.

- Characterize the clinical and public health experience gained from the two prior novel human coronavirus epidemics, SARS and MERS, and how that informs our understanding and response to the current outbreak.
- Provide current health and travel advice to persons returning from or needing to travel to China.
- Access and implement guideline recommendations for clinical assessment, diagnostic testing, appropriate isolation precautions, and monitoring of a patient with exposure to or illness from the 2019 novel coronavirus
