METRIC is an online practice improvement program that is designed to assist you in fulfilling the requirement for Part IV of Maintenance of Certification. First, you fill out a short practice assessment questionnaire. Next, you review 10 patient charts. Once you've entered data for 10 charts, you will see how your data compares with other users' data. Next, you build an action plan based on the feedback you received. The program describes possible interventions to help build a plan right for your needs. Your action plan helps you change your practice systems over a three-month action period. Finally, you review of a second set of 10 patient charts and complete a second questionnaire.
